High Tech Hearing Aids Now Almost Invisible

Dear Patients,

We take health and well-being of our patients very seriously. We kindly ask that if you are experiencing flu-like symptoms, you remain at home and call to reschedule your appointment.

We have implemented additional precautions within our practice to help protect our patients and our staff.

  1. Your visit MAY be changed to a telemedicine visit, where Dr. Laurel Hinton and Brianna Tybor (Audiology Assistant) will call you instead of having you come to the practice.
  2. We will take your temperature at the front desk, anyone with a temperature of 99.5 or higher will be asked to leave.
  3. You may be asked to wait in your car until your visit room is available.
  4. Only One family member or friend is allowed for each patient.
  5. Children under the age of 14 will not be allowed inside unless they are the patient themselves.
  6. We are adhering to strict sanitation measure in all areas of the practice.

You can find more information regarding the virus at the California Department of Public Health by visiting the link below.

Things to consider during the “In Home Shelter”

  1. Questions that arise during this time can be answered by Dr. Hinton via a simple phone call. 831-643-1600

  2. CLEAN & CHECK” questions can be answered via tele-audiology if you have a computer with audio or a smart phone.
  3. If you need an ADJUSTMENT on your hearing aids, some hearing aids are available for REMOTE PROGRAMMING. You will need to call the office to confirm you have this feature with your hearing aids.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Sincerely,

Your Central Coast Audiology Team.
